The Backbone of Your Website - Understanding the Importance of Web Hosting

When it comes to building and maintaining a website, most business owners invest a lot of time and resources into design, digital marketing and Search Engine Optimization (SEO). But, one aspect that often gets overlooked is the web host. Web hosting is the backbone of your website and, if not properly chosen, can have a major impact on performance and overall success.

While the concept of web hosting may seem complicated, it’s actually quite simple. A web host is a service that provides space on servers, which are then used to store and access your portal’s files and applications online. While there are ways to build your own server with PC software, it’s far more cost-effective and convenient to rely on a third-party web host provider to manage the storage space on their servers and ensure the continuous accessibility of your website.

In order to select the best web hosting service, it’s important for businesses to understand their specific needs. For example, a website with multiple applications or an e-commerce platform will require more bandwidth and technical support than a basic blog or informational site.

Additionally, the future growth and scalability of your site should be considered when selecting a web host as well.

Another consideration is whether the web host offers a wide range of features and options to help with the development of your website, such as file transfer protocol (FTP) access or WordPress support.

FTP allows users to upload website files from their computer directly to the web server and can be especially helpful for those with limited technical skills. WordPress support is another useful feature that many web hosting providers now offer for free or at a low-cost.

Finally, the speed of a web host’s server response time is critical to website performance and user experience. Slower servers can lead to longer loading times and deprive your visitors of the information they need. In turn, this can lead to a higher bounce rate and lower conversion rates.

With so much riding on the quality of your website and its ability to attract and engage customers, it’s crucial that you choose a web hosting solution that offers high performance uptime, easy-to-use tools for managing your account and a fast, secure server environment.

In addition to offering a host of features that help with the development and maintenance of your website, our web hosting services also include server monitoring tools, which can be accessed via our hPanel and provide an overview of key performance metrics such as load time, server status and traffic.

Sales Funnels

Check out my recent post on sales funnels and what I think about them. Are they still worth it?

John Sammartino is an expert in sales and personal coaching. He has written academic papers on What Makes a Great Salesperson from a psychological perspective. He has achieved a number of awards for Top Sales for himself and the teams he has coached.

John met the love of his life; Janine, in 1988 and they married in 1994. John and Janine have three wonderful children and currently have three beautiful Grandchildren.

Although John had a pretty successful career as a Mid-Senior Level Sales Executive he never realized how much of his family life he missed out on until he was injured; herniating 17 out of 33 discs in his spine in 2013. Since then has suffered from permanent nerve damage which causes deliberating pain in his back, legs and arms along with many other issues that prevent him from working a normal 40 hour work week never mind the 50-60 hr weeks he was used to.

It was a rude awakening for John and Janine as they noticed that the nest egg you save along with 401k investments doesn't last long when you can no longer work. It wasn't long before they were accumulating a mass of debt and the bank was coming for their home. John decided that he had to reinvent himself and find a way to provide for his family somehow working from home only a few hours a week when he was up to the task.

Determined to adapt his sales and marketing knowledge from a brick and mortar perspective to the Digital, Internet, and Affiliate Marketing field in order to start a steady side hustle. Unfortunately, John and Janine found themselves getting ripped off by many of those so called “Guru’s”. They spent more then they should have on bogus programs promising the moon but always falling short on delivering. He spent countless hours researching and listening to everyone claiming to of “Cracked the Code” and introducing the next best thing to sliced bread.

Being raised in a traditional household, it was ingrained in him that it is his responsibility to provide. John Saw the concern in his wife eyes, she knew he felt emasculated and depressed because he was unable to provide the way he used to. He was tired of seeing his family having to do without, eating one to many mac`n`cheese dinners because it was the cheapest meal.

This gave John the iron will not only to succeed in his quest to make money online but to accumulate generational wealth for his family and future family. Soon he found himself making some good side money but that was only the beginning…
